This local park is the perfect place to take a walk or cycle your bike with family or friends.
The Park was designated a Local Nature Reserve on 27 October 2008 and was already in part a Site of Nature Conservation Interest. A cycle route has been built around the Barden lake to enable you to cycle from Tonbridge main park through Haysden and onto Penshurst . The lake area is a popular place to spot wild life including swans, Canada geese and a selection of ducks.
There are toilets next to the car park with a children's play area to keep the kids amused. Fishing is allowed at the lake, but day permits are required from the bailiff at the park. For details contact the Tonbridge and District Angling and Fishing Society on 01732 359385/01732 832352
